My designs start life as hand painted pieces which I then digitally engineer in to seamless repeats. I love to use watercolour inks, gouache and acrylic to paint motifs inspired by botanical forms and artisinal textiles archives.

About

After graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone (University of Dundee) with First Class Honours in Textiles, I spent a decade designing print and embroidery as well as accessories for global brands.

I initially specialised in hand rendering embroidery artworks for bridal and main line collections for Temperley London. Later I moved to John Lewis, working on accessories for all in house brands. I currently freelance with worldwide clients from my home studio. Commissions and collaborations include Restoration Yard and Cella & Flo.

All pieces are hand painted, printed and made to order in Scotland.
